The 4th Doctor

"Would you like a jelly baby?"
There are so many pieces to this Doctor's regular wardrobe, and he mixes them up over the series, so only the most discerning fan would ever know if the combination you pull together is SA or not. As long as you have that scarf and a couple of the other key basic markers, this one should be easy to pull together at any thrift store. Or if you're more adventurous, you can go for the all-red or 'Pimp Doctor' look!

Basic Markers:
- the epic scarf (multi or red/purple versions)
- long red corduroy jacket
- brown fedora hat
- brown argyle cardigan -or- velvet waistcoat (vest)
- white dress shirt
- grey tweed or subtle plaid wool trousers
- brown shoes
- TARDIS key on long chain around neck
- Bonus points for the 3 mallard pins on the overcoat left lapel and a single larger pin on the right
- EXTRA bonus points for carrying a paperback edition of 'The Origins Of The Universe' by Oolond Colluphid, or 'Teach Yourself Tibetan'

SA:
- the first red jacket is a Biking red fine wale corduroy shooting jacket, but he later wears a double breasted burgundy or chestnut-brown velvet frock coats as well
- the brown overcoat is a loose fitting brown wool 3/4 length coat
- the grey overcoat is a double breasted grey tweed frock coat with chocolate brown corduroy collar and cuffs
- the hat is either a dark brown Herbert Johnson Poet fedora or a bottle green Herbert Johnson fur felt fedora
- the cardigan is brown with tan and eggshell argyle pattern and lighter brown sleeves
- the waistcoats are a printed velvet with a bold Prince of Wales checked design, a tapestry in brown, green and gold paisley design, or charcoal with floral motif design
- white dress shirt with a brown check and rounded collar tips
- green, black and white stripe -or- a solid terracotta or red neckerchief
- a dark red silk tie with burgundy polka dots
- a white cravat
- grey tweed trousers held up with braces
- weathered Blackwatch tartan trousers held up with grey button braces
- grey glen check trousers held up black leather belt with brass buckle
- brown derby wingtip shoes, brown balmoral brogues, brown leather cuff boots, or black ankle boots
